Turning Passion Into Action.

Empowering Wolverines to lead change on campus, in Michigan, and Beyond!

Our mission is to tackle special interest issues and stand up for the public good. Together, we fight and advocate for the issues that matter most to our communities. Through education, community service, and advocacy, we help students become effective activists.

Change is possible. We’ve done it before.

For over 50 years, Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups) have been leading the charge for the public interest. Wolverines have always been at the front line and we’ve got the results to prove it!

Progress starts with one step.

With thousands of students across the nation, our movement is fueled by passionate individuals. Whether you can volunteer once a day, once a week, or once a semester, PIRGIM organizers and student leaders provide the training and skills you need to effectively fight for the future.
